REAL ADVICE FROM MY REAL EXPERIENCES

WHY I DO WHAT I DO & A LITTLE ABOUT ME :)

Hi everyone & welcome to my blog! My name is Julia Owensby and I am from St. Augustine, Florida I went on to go to college at Georgia Southern University where I majored in Marketing and attempted a minor in Spanish. Emphasis on the word attempted. I knew there was no better way to learn a language than visiting the motherland, Spain. 6 weeks after graduating college I hoped on a plane and flew to Madrid where I would end up spending the next two months living out my dreams of studying/interning abroad. 

During my time in Spain, I visited 17 different cities and 3 different countries, I went through trials and tribulations, while simultaneously having the best summer of my entire life. Traveling is not an easy thing to do and certainly not as glamorous as everyone makes it out to be.

I vowed to myself while I was sitting in my 108-degree non-air-conditioned flat in the middle of a heat wave in Madrid that I am going through these experiences to later help others & save them from making the same mistakes as I did.
